Hit the trail to Blackett’s at 6:15, watched the sun come up and it is always a great vista from the top. Not really anything else I would have rather been doing on this stunning Tucson morning. The desert is still bathed in coolness in the early morning and the Ocotillos with their flaming red spikes were delightful along with the fusia hedgehogs which are starting to flower.
