The First Plunge Wasn’t Too Cold…

July 5th and we are finally putting the raft in. Bro, Glen, and I swam it out to the anchor, of course I was sans wet suit while Glen went swim suit only, saying, “Hey, I’m not from Arizona!” The air temps reached 70, but the water, although not leg numbing cold, felt about 65-67. Absolutely the nicest day since my arrival in Michigan and the first day we could even contemplate full body submersion in the  big lake.

A BIG bonfire at sunset ( light here until 10pm) is a relaxing finish to a fine day.
