It really doesn’t get much better than this for riding your bike. 62 degrees at 10am when I took off for Mackinaw City and a view of the Mighty Mac Bridge, the third longest suspension bridge in the world, spanning 5 miles across the Straights of Mackinaw and connecting the lower peninsula to the upper peninsula of Michigan.
Next I headed out to Wilderness State Park on Lake Michigan, more scenic riding along the lake shore. Caught a tail wind most of the ride home. My legs felt strong for the first 50-miler I’d ridden in a while.
