Traveling and camping in the VW does not lend itself to shaving the legs, besides, mountain stream and lake water produces mounds of goose bumps, not ideal for a smooth and silky shave. …and I haven’t shaved my armpits since college so I’m not about to begin now. I’m feeling like I need warm and wooly legs in these cold north woods and I’ll be wishing for even more fur when I take the first lake plunge.
For now it fits with my wilderness woman, woman that runs with wolves, nature/earth woman or Sacagawea persona…. Cooking over the fire, repairing the teepee, making moccasins and bathing in the big lake. That’s life in the north woods. Why shaving would be like mowing the forest floor of it’s natural fauna.
So, for all you women who are tired of obeying the rules, who want a new script, to try something different…go to the woods and stop shaving!
